Four Thai provinces have received the first COVID-19 vaccine delivery, which is good news for tourists as multiple tourism-related businesses introduce appealing discounts and privileges.

As vaccines for the novel Coronavirus pandemic are starting to be issued for the wider population, one could almost see a new post-COVID era in the horizon. Among the countries handling this outbreak pretty well is Thailand, and Eat Vacation is delighted to find out that this Southeast Asian kingdom is happily welcoming back tourists through a line-up of appealing offers and discounts.

Recently, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has revealed that more than 80 tourism operators across the lengths of Ko Samui, Ko Phangan, and Ko Tao are ready to hand out special tourist offers until 30 April 2021. Those longing for a tropical escapade has been looking to Thailand for its impressive quarantine program and assuring level of security. In fact, these resort islands are officially declared free of COVID-19 cases. It is all thanks to being one of the four Thai provinces to receive the first vaccine delivery. These include Surat Thani (with Ko Samui), Chon Buri, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.

Now that a game plan has been set for vaccination, these tourist islands are introducing a range of attractive offers and discounts to kickstart the local tourism. For instance, one could experience the ultimate water adventure of the SUP ROY initiative, or Stand Up Paddle, in Ko Samui. In the meantime, CentralWorld in Bangkok is hosting a “3 Wonder Island” tourism promotion between 11-17 March 2021. Explore the extensive array of special discounts and privileges from over 50 operators in these islands. Not to mention the newly launched “Phangan Privilege Card” which provides alluring offers in hotels, shops, and restaurants on Ko Phangan.

For those seeking to engage in green travel, the “Dive to the Nature” initiative would be perfect. It strives to promote sustainable tourism through various conservation efforts like beach clean-up and developing a new ecotourism route. In terms of travel and transport, Eat Vacation is excited to say that Bangkok Airways currently has a special fare for the Bangkok-Samui or Samui-Bangkok route. From just 2,000 Baht, one could enjoy a comfortable flight to and from Bangkok and Samui.

Indeed, the past year and a half has been a tough time for most of us. Are you ready to finally embark on a fun, exotic getaway? Please visit the official TAT Facebook page, TAT Koh Samui, for more information.
