The Apurva Kempinski Bali, the quintessence five-star hotel on this island paradise, launches programmes for Global Wellness Day to promote mindfulness, living well and healing.

Today, the world is moving in an ever-kindling whirlwind. With jobs that continue to demand more of our energy and time, many have forgotten to stop and take a moment for themselves. For most, the annual celebration of Global Wellness Day is an essential reminder to live well. Resorts and wellness centres across the globe have participated in this global movement with the hopes of helping guests loosen up. Among those is The Apurva Kempinski Bali, renowned for their commitment towards mindfulness.

Back on 12 June 2020, The Apurva Kempinski Bali launched seven programmes under the central theme “Mindfulness: The Art of Being Present”. They were centred around the chakras, or energy points, of the human body. Eat Vacation was privileged enough to undergo the ultimate relaxation and tranquillity, thanks to the activities that were intentionally designed to correspond to the body’s seven chakras. It was a unique experience that helped Eat Vacation release the stress of everyday life by releasing any disruptions of the inner energy flow.

The Apurva Kempinski Bali has been known to incorporate mindfulness into its resort activities. This year, the five-star resort takes things further by participating in Global Wellness Day.

Director of Spa Rahma Susanti explained that the Global Wellness Day is a much-need initiative to promote healing. The activities at The Apurva Kempinski Bali are designed to help people calm their mind and rediscover their centre. She said, “We hope that by taking part in this global movement, more people will be able to tune in to their intuition, and overcome fear.” The Apurva Kempinski Bali itself is comprised of grand and ornate edifices perched on the splendid cliff of Nusa Dua, overlooking the vast Indian Ocean and boasting a lush tropical garden. Eat Vacation’s stay here was indeed the hallmark of beachside opulence.
