The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is supporting a local promotion event at Krabi, Thailand, which will showcase the province’s proliferous cultural, culinary and natural spectacles.

Krabi, a province resting on the Southern Thai west coast, is characterized by rugged, precipitous limestone cliffs, prolific mangrove forests and over a hundred individual islands. Its clear turquoise waters and iconic rainforest boulders make it one of the nation’s most luxuriant and sought-after resort destination. Exploring the bounteous natural wonders, one could not help but be filled with awe at the extraordinary beauty of this province.

From 26 to 30 August 2020, its teeming arts, culture and delectable cuisine will be eminently highlighted in a domestic promotion event at The Mud Crab Sculpture Park, Krabi Town. This gives visitors the chance to explore Krabi’s various attractions and tourism appeals. The “Visit Art City, Taste Delicious Food in Krabi” event is supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), as well as Krabi Province, Krabi Provincial Cultural Office, Krabi Province Commercial Office and the Krabi Chamber of Commerce, among other provincial authorities.

The arts, culture and cuisine of the Southern Thai resort destination of Krabi is to be prominently showcased at yet another domestic promotion event to be held between 26-30 August at The Mud Crab Sculpture Park, Krabi Town.

The event will showcase the acclaimed contemporary art fair in Krabi, and several illustrious Southern street arts. There will be an array of exhibitors from around 100 local enterprises, each showcasing their own unique and authentic products.

Not to worry about a lack of a culinary vista, as there will be plenty of that. The lavish cuisine fare will spotlight a myriad of local and international restaurants, serving dishes designed by hotel chefs, from local home kitchens and seafood from the Andaman Sea. Better yet, these food outlets have made a solicitous commitment to not use any styrofoam containers. The event will culminate at the “Light up Your Life” performance, a glamorous light and sound show featuring colourful balloons and flashing water fountains. Visitors will also be treated by a mini-concert, where renowned artists like New-Jiew, Getsunova and the much-acclaimed Ake Chokechai.

Exotic local culinary fare will be highlighted by a diverse range of restaurants, both local and international, including halal dishes, designer dishes by hotel chefs and fresh seafood from the Andaman Sea.

TAT is also handing out 100 Baht cash coupons for visitors to spend.
